This Privacy Policy explains how Gathur (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Gathur website and platform (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
Information you provide: account details (name, email, password), event details (such as event type, date, guest count, budget, and venue), vendor listing information (business name, bio, photos, pricing, categories, service areas), messages and quotes you send, reviews, and guest invite details you enter.
Information collected automatically: basic usage and device data through analytics to help us understand and improve the Service.
We use your information to operate the Service — to create and manage accounts, connect Hosts and Vendors, deliver messages, quotes, and bookings, send transactional and notification emails (which you can control in Settings), display reviews and listings, provide support, and improve and secure the platform.
When you contact or book a Vendor (or receive an inquiry as a Vendor), relevant information is shared with the other party so you can communicate and transact. Listing and review content you submit may be publicly visible on the Service. We share data with service providers that help us run Gathur — for example, Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and Stripe (payment processing, if and when enabled). We do not sell your personal information.
You can manage notification and marketing emails in your account Settings. Account and security-related emails (such as password resets) are always sent as part of providing the Service.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
You may access or update your information in your account, adjust your email preferences, or request deletion of your account by contacting us at hello@gathur.app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal data.
The Service is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed to children.
We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
